Computergraphik II


February 9th 2021: Type of examination in winter term 2020/21:
Due to Corona regulations, the exam for Computer Graphics II will be given as an oral exam this semester. The original date of March 22, 2021 is the preferred exam date for the oral exam. All students registered for the exam in UNISONO should send an email to andreas.kolb@uni-siegen.de indicating if they are able to take the oral exam on March 22 or not. In justified cases, the oral exam date may be different from March 22. In this case, please include a brief justification in the mail and indicate a preferred alternative exam period.
7 September 2020:
There will be an extra lesson for questions on 7 September at 2 pm via Jitsy.
14 September 2020:
The examination wiil take place on 14 September at 11 am, in H-C3303.

Aims
Building on the basic understanding of the generative 3D-Computer Graphics teaching of CG-I, this lecture develops the basic outline aspects of geometric modelling and animation. Participants will learn the basic context of Computer Graphics and are taught to develop a simple, interactive 3D-application on their own.

Lecture Material
The course material can be found on moodle. The moodle course requires an enrolment key, which is sent to all students that have registered for the course in UNISONO.
In the course of the lab work questions concerning the calculating assignments and lecture content are answered, and simple algorithmic problems and programming tasks in C/C++ are executed.
A mandatory, binding registration in the unisono for one of the lab times is requested.
