Visualization of 3-Dimensional Multispectral Data

Multispectral cameras and confocal raman microscopes both capture image data with more channels than traditional digital cameras. Visualizing such data sets can be challenging and requires a sensible mapping of the data to the visual domain. This seminar talk provides an overview of visualization techniques, both for multivariate data sets in general and multispectral data sets in particular. The aim is to find criteria which a suitable visualization system has to fulfill.
